It's supposed to stand for Mobile Aerial Troop Transport, but yes, the irony was not lost on me when I decided to stick repulsors on it. Consider it an homage.

Wormhole: Wormhole is at its core a mind-reading program. It triggers reactions in the brain which makes it so the "victims" are unable to control their body. It is an expansion on the former truth serum where no longer are only the "victims" unable to lie to posed questions they are also made to tell the things they are hiding most. Wormhole automatically makes it so "victims" are trying to protect the valuable information they have and as it is in the forefront of their brain at the moment they will reveal it. If the information ends up not to be what the users are looking for they can also then simply apply the truth serum and ask direct questions.

Further Jax Upgrades: Jax is explained previously but we are further upgrading its features with updated information on the public systems of several countries.

AAA Combat Suits: Improving on the Public Combats suits avaliable we are using the rare discovered metal in Polen to further strengthen the suits as well as provide Plasma Shielding on them individually. Our jetpacks will be implemented into the suits and inner medical works will provide treatment to injured soldiers as they are fighting or resting. Also provided with an attached weapon of choice depending on the position.



None of these have times, mind-reading is something you really ought to lead up to, and I'm not sure on the precedent for magic, unresearched metals.

I've just generally been 15-25 year long techs for now. Wormhole can be 40 years. I've had a sort of weak mind manipulating tech thing along with a truth serum before. I remember mentioning working with metals somewhere a while ago a little after I'd just started and I first used it in my Crane Air Unit.

Random/new metals are definitely a thing in CYOC, though you should research them. Term started with something like that way back when (plaisteach, which was some type of plastic thing as hard as steel that he then turned into something that could do anything, really). I think we all have special metallic alloys/compounds that we've researched by now, and Venusian unobtainium was a thing for a bit.

What exactly does that 'rare discovered metal' do?

Commissar Santiago Quixote Cannon (Aka Sandy's Big Boomstick): Collassal but easily-assembled artillery piece, can be carried by three Venusians (only due to GMs - would take at least fifty fit baseline humans) but usually placed on pack animals. Based off the Arc Hammer and Grindstone designs, but man and animal-portable. Fires a large shell (able to be outfitted with different payloads) up to 1000 miles with exceptional accuracy. 10 years.

Emperor Peter I "Horse" breed (Aka Pete's Ponies): The development of the Venusian cavalry requires a horse to match the quality of the men. The EPI is designed to be a general-purpose cavalry mount/pack animal/object to hide behind. Genetically modified to be exceptionally hardy, and able to go long distances without rest, while being exceptionally obedient. Tech aquired by experimenting on Venusians will now be used on animals since it is proven to work, giving these animals strength, speed, and the ability to breathe underwater. Hooves adapted to turn into webbed feet when the occasion to cross water presents itself. Run fast enough to keep up with a flying Venusian. Have their own AT fields to protect them, as well as Dragon Skin and Dragon Bone to make them exceptionally durable. Computers integrated for navigation purposes (self-driving horse) as well as to provide for future anti-missile and other modules to be placed on the horse. The plugs are located in convenient places. Horse entirely covered in cuttlefish leather for camouflage/soldiers making it look cool and spikes for the intimidation factor. 10 years.

All ten years because I want to get in one more tech set before I go.

Homeworld-class battleship: New mainstay of the fleet, incorporating our more recent techs. The first several ships will be built as part of the project. Descriptions will be released upon return.

We're the Nomads Now: Jacking up radiation resistence in Venusians so they can shrug off the effects of harmful radiation. Largely accomplished by increasing skin thickness and making the material more resistent, but cells will also get bonuses against radiation sickness.

Lung Filters: Creating a more versitile set of lungs that can screen for and protect against chemical and biological weapons.

Venusian's best friend: It'll be a war-dog. Again, pressed for time, so we're gonna have to hold off on the deets until I return. But it will be both cute and terrifying.

Hot or Not?: HFPE. Enhanced individuals will be able to change their size, shape, and facial appearance.

New tactical missiles 14/20
new cruise missiles 14/15

Military Updates 8.5/25: this involves a routine replacement of various vehicles and upgrades. However of specific note, we are upgrading the powered arrmor worn by Praetorian Stormtroopers (shown below) quite a bit for added maneuverability and weapons capacity alongside improvements to their stealth, sensors, and EW, and we are adding increased firepower and shields to the heavier Marine armor worn by the Royal Army. We expect we will be outnumbered in any conflict, and need these units to hit their weight class and above. The other main update is to our tanks. We are upgrading its active defenses and adding better AI to the tanks, with what we know from Nightmarchers tech and Ogres. Finally, Battlescreen technology currently used on spaceships, Ogres, and Athenians is being phased down onto Ursa tanks and our other power armors to increase survival rates. With the greatly increased budget per soldier we can now afford this. Other changes are just scheduled updates though we expect to see heavier firepower in the future and more units with highly expanded anti personnel weapons for when facing swarms of massed droids/infantry or multi-form units.

New:
HFPE (semi) a Panopticon-Rangi fusion to greatly improve our satellite sensors. We've already spent decades this year IRL on this stuff, but we want a global BOSS/Boomerang system that can identify every weapon/unit/vehicle in a battlezone and id them as friend or foe. Preferably before they even get a chance to fight. This information gets processed and relevant warnings sent to nearby units alongside intel on said units. After, we will also use our missile defense systems to intercept aircraft or missiles we see with this

(Public) A new anti air defense unit is being created to support our military forces. It will replace our Scorpion missile tanks (because frankly, they are obsolete with plasma torpedoes and our rocket howitzers having the range of a cruise missile too). Other missile needs can be met with stationary or towed missile batteries and primarily by offshore ships or aircraft. These air defense vehicles have to be able to monitor for threats and intercept missiles and aircraft, and be able to protect and escort other units. We feel that Ursa and Beast units have heavy air defense, but they need to focus on fighting ground troops for full effect. It is likely these units will be almost entirely automated like our Ogres, though much smaller.

OOC-I'm also gonna make an automated anti infantry spam one after I finish my newer cruise missiles. Again, something we can spam in lower numbers against much much higher amounts of troops and droids and cheaper aircraft.

Eagle - Project Eagle is aimed at revitalizing our Raptor and Wraith line of fighters, optimizing their designs with new technology, expertise, and techniques. Will include an upgrade to their maneuverability, EW, etc, integrating our designs with them fully.

Ongoing:

Fleche - a general upgrade to our missile propulsion, particularly with the speed, elusiveness, and movement algorithms. This is integrated with our stealth and EW technologies and techniques. 5 years (June 25)

Fletchling - another update to our missiles, this time looking at their control. Using our close in missile approach, and integrating data from our sensors, battlefield awareness, EW, and previous missiles, Fletchling will upgrade the ability of our missiles to maneuver past countermissile and point defense fire, elusively skirt projectiles and obstacles, and combine with our specialty warheads/EW to pierce harder defenses. 5 years (June 25)

Mail - A large step forward in Mattibean armor and shield technology, project Mail is aimed at providing the base for further practical applications, and developing the technology and techniques to be applied there. The final goal of project Mail will deliver a small, self contained unit - with a powerful micro-battery or micro generator providing power, integrated deep within the armor unit. Surrounding it will be a extremely durable, hard 'cast' of chromsten armor, and layered armor. And throughout that armor, tendrils of integrated circuits and plasma channels will be embedded, able to generate one or two internal layers of plasma shielding, as well as a plasma skin. 35 years (August 24)


New:

Ghost Rider III - Ghost Rider III is an upgrade to a host of our space force - first, looking at our drones, increasing their stealth, speed, and recon capabilities. Then, looking at our ship's EW - making them more elusive targets, better at jamming, at pushing past enemy EW. And finally, an upgrade to our missile EW platforms, to promote long range, hard to intercept, fiendishly elusive targets. 30 years (Aug. 14)

Schlagkraft- Project Schlagkraft is a general overhaul of our ground based kinetic weaponry - specifically, focusing on vehicle weapons (the main guns on our tanks and IFVs utilize heavy, supervelocity coilguns as their typical armament, along with the coilgun repeaters for anti-infantry use), infantry weapons (both regular and heavy grav-guns for high RoF applications, along with powerful railgun rifles and sniper rifles for shots that pack a heavier single punch), unarmored infantry (sidearm versions using both coilguns and railguns), and heavier ones (coilgun artillery, long range railguns, and hellfire/Shield Busting guns). It'll also generate a version of the hellfire gun that is portable by suited infantry, and a version of the SB guns that can be utilized by Juggernaut II suits. 30 years (Aug. 14)

Ongoing:
Baunairi Military Update- 45 years left
*A massive overhaul and redevelopment of military hardware and software. Will emphasize the integration of technologies such as Magelight, Revelation, and Scalar into conventional military designs and increasing the efficiency of a variety of weaponry.

Additional Projects:
Rainbow Mountain: Utilizing recently purchased Founding Trees, Northern Crystal, and conventional Baunairi gene mods to organic compounds in salt and sugar to create small organic crystals that can be "grown". Probably have some sort of equivalent already, but this is a massive update for religious and architectural purposes as of right now. Will emphasize larger scale growth and increasing diversity of color and density as well as impact on human and animal biology. 30 years

Consortia of Blossoms: Basically plant-based computers which pull on centuries of Baunairi experimentations with nanoparticles, sensing, and biotech. Having plants rapidly integrate new environmental information, process it, and interpret it, with computing processes conducted through the roots. Slime molds (which exist IRL albeit on a small scale), this is a vastly more complex and developed version of it that revolves around the biology of vegetation. Future updates will focus on integrating plants across vaster distances and increasing both processing speed and the overall intensity of analysis for stronger computational assessments. However, initial designs will be small scale, with no real economic or religious value. 60 years
