As usual of course WitA is premium only, but if you aren't premium and want to play then there is a way....
...we are also introducing a purchase scheme for Premium Credits which allow you to play in a premium game even if you are not premium yourself. Credits will be available on the Go Premium page for $5 each, or you can buy a block of 7 for $15. So in other words if you are non-premium and you and your non-premium friends want to play 1900 or Versailles, for $15 you get 7 premium credits and off you go! (Remember to gift them to the other players using the My Account page) But if you want to play WitA, you'll need 10 credits of course, which will be one block of 7 plus 3 individual ones.
I will post again when the changes are up.
One further note. In the past we have restricted new variants to unranked until they had had a good few games go OK. However, this time we will make it available for ranked as well, on the basis that if a game is hit by a bug we can always unrank it if we have to.
