* If you have 18 centers you get all 100 points.
* If you get 17 centers in a 2-way draw, you get 47,5 points (1 point for participation + 17 for SCs + half of 38 + 14 + 7 which is 29,5 = 47,5).
* If you get 17 centers in a 3-way draw (or more), you will get 56 points (1 point for participation + 17 for SCs + 38 for topping the table).

Personally, I love the idea. I am no fan of Diplomacy's sloggy and muddy endgame race to stalemate lines and the crucious trek to 18, so a timed match means an action-packed early and midgame which I enjoy much more.

I like the idea as well, but I have 4 games ongoing at the time and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. Maybe in a month or two, I'll give it a go.

This is a Casual Classicists game. You need only to be an "Aspiring" Classicist to join (which is fairly easy to achieve if you haven't had lots of NMRs and surrenders). Please have a look at the Information about the Classicists, posting an application in the Application Subforum if you are not already a member. A sample application is provided as an example.
