I am keen to organise a dynasty.

May I also suggest that some variants be added to spice it up a bit. 1900 being a relatively vanilla format could be enhanced by making it Fog of War and/or changing the start conditions to escalation or AoE. 1812 might also work well with FOW.

Oof. I know it can be done, but I would not enjoy playing Fogmaster.

For this tournament, my goal is to stick to the variants as-is, with exceptions like the scoring system and adding some uniformity to how certain finicky rules are adjudicated.

OK I get that. There is an option though - run 1900 on the PlayDip adjudicator as a friends game, avoiding the GM burden. Make it no press so Slack only is used. That might help with the timeframe too if the GM commitment is the bottleneck. Just a suggestion that could make the GM's life easier - with or without Fog. I realise that would limit the 1900 participants to premium though.

Maybe for a future tournament. I'm certainly interested in organizing something that celebrates variants and is totally run on the PD site. For now, however, I want to use my own art.

And if you don't care for 1900, keep in mind that in addition to a 30% chance that your Dynasty won't even play it, you could always delegate that game to someone in your Dynasty that does want to play.

If you have trouble finding people willing to take on the complications of Dissolution, I suggest chatting up my current play testers. Especially those who were eliminated early and might want another crack at it.
