The Mexican Homeland Defense department will investigate this rumor of war and will leave no stone unturned to determine it's validity...and its source.

As a precaution, all shore leave has been cancelled, forces have been placed on heightened alert, and civilians have been urged to shutter windows.

If the coward who placed this message anonymously has more information to support their claim, Mexico would appreciate a direct communication.

Following up on the pronouncements of the Mexican department of Homeland Defense on matters of intelligence and civil defense, the Mexan Secretary of War has issued the following terse statement to Britain:

-In light of the heightened tension and state of alert resulting from this allegation of hostile intent, any further violations of our agreed DMZ's would be...imprudent -

The British Foreign Affair ministry would like to disavow this vicious rumor. The crown has not attacked or provoked anyone. All of our wars have been started by the other side. We desire only peace and harmony with our neighbors.
