I am interested in joining this game but I have a rules question.

his_flyness wrote:Supply:

The supply center a unit is supplied from affects which declarations of treason affect it. At the start of the game, all units are supplied by the center they start on. Any time a unit takes a supply center, it is judged to be supplied by the center it has just captured. The new build will be placed (and supplied by) the center whose unit just captured the new SC. In the event that that SC is currently occupied, the owner may choose to supply the occupying unit from that SC and build in the supply center which formerly supplied the occupying unit.

Could you help me out with this section of the rules? The first part I get. The last part (in Blue BOLD)sounds like you are saying that if the Original home SC of the unit capturing the new SC is occupied you then build at the same old home SC??? I don’t get it. Could you please reword for me.

Also (and forgive my geographic wimpiness, but) might I suggest a colour code or legend of the names of the players (Lords, Kings and Papacy) be placed on the map.

Thanks :D

Thanks for joining -- we're actually getting really close to getting started! (More sign ups are on the main thread)

Anyway, the idea is if F Can is in Lon, and the army supplied by Lon captures Paris, your build should be in Lon. But you can't, because it's occupied. But, you could choose to supply F Can from Lon and build in Can.

And good idea about a color key. I'll get on it soon.

This sounds interesting, I may get a little lost, but it will be a learing experience. Sign me up!
Just out of curiosity, how do you create the maps on the computer?

Glad to have you join!

You can make maps with drawing software. Of course, it works best if you ask Magmaniac to do it for you -- they end up much better that way! :)

Once we get enough players signed up for LOTR, I'll sign up as a player for this.

Yeah -- sorry -- sroca made a copy and moved it in here, unfortunately. I'm trying to keep things to the other thread, though...
