Let's have a DIAS, as this is going nowhere.

It certainly is going nowhere. However, what I want to do is ask the general populace for a new GM before we abandon the game entirely. I'll make a post.

So...I'm... back...

Sorry, I was having RL problems. I'm happy to pick back up GMing, but interest may have waned.

I'm extremely sorry to all who were left in the lurch.

I know for a fact that some people do want to continue this still (like me). But I would think that most people have either lost interest or been sucked into the immense void called "real life" which takes good players and turns them into NMRs.

Anyway, you could try starting back up (it certainly wouldn't hurt to try) but I don't know how successful it would be. We might have to get some new players.

I'd like to play, but I think this particular game might be dead. Maybe start a new one, with modification based on what we've learned from the first one:
- fewer players
- more units for each player
- build immediately (meaning that the unit which captures a territory is supplied by that territory)

Scotland the Brave and all that!

this sounds good to me, but maybe a few more neutrals?

That could work, sure. But I think the theme of the game discourages neutrals to some extent. There aren't many areas which aren't under some monarch, to the best of my knowledge.

One change I think is fleets have too much power based on the limited provinces. More costal regions would be good like say aorund england and mainland and reduce ability for fleets to threaten so many SC's

but they only have 1/2 power, so they need support.
