@ England and Germany:

I am hoping to hear some thoughts from you guys on the final turn here. You both posted in the round 3 thread but I wanted to get a better understanding of what you said there. Am I to understand that the move to Denmark was agreed upon and it was just oversight that it would allow me to retreat to my 18th center?

Maybe that's the word, but with England moving to Burgundy with my help, I know I expected you to bounce there and remain in Munich because we didn't know what Austria was going to do. I didn't think it would be something aggressive; I thought he was more likely to just turtle up or leave you alone. Like I said, I hadn't gotten a response in three weeks, so I didn't know his mindset.

I started collecting thoughts earlier in the game but stopped partway through; I'll try to get something more in-depth together at some point soon, just having a busy-ish week.

(But yes, the idea was that I would take Denmark and leave Kiel open for an army build that would be more useful than the fleet I had there.)

I feel like I have to point out the obvious flaw here--if Austria hadn't knocked Turkey out of Munich, then the game would've ended no matter wht you guys did.

Edit: I did not see Joe's response only nanook's. I guess if you hoped Austria would try to contest Warsaw that might have worked out?
