2018 League sign up

Oooft. Well you are the first person in for the 3rd league So I'd love to say yes, but I think I need to wait and see what the sign up is like over the next week or two. Fingers crossed we can at least get another 6. Then there can be a mini 3rd league and a chance of promotion to the big time!

Having extras is good, because some of the first two leagues may not show, (for whatever reasons).

I'd like to think everyone who wants can get a game but I'll need to wait until sign ups are closed (couple of weeks yet)

I can sign up to be a reserve player too. There might be enough interest to get a (smaller) third league started if you continue hyping it, and it helps if you can say that you only need a few more people.

I was thinking, even if I got to 7 extras I could make leagues 2 and 3 have 14 players each. But again the fixture become a concern. You'd either only play 2 games each, or accept that some people will play all 3 games against the same people. As yet I am undecided on the approach to take. With sign up closing being a couple of weeks away it gives me a bit of time to come up with an award winning plan and announce it to you all...

You have to assume we will need some reserves, as I am certain that someone will get ejected for NMRs or surrenders. So I say stick to 21 per league, and a replacement player joins in place of their predecessor. Also, if the numbers keep growing, you can also start another division, albeit later than planned.
