Klenn has failed to sign up to a game and is evicted from the league. They have been replaced by Shyvve.

As I did during the PDL's first run, I'm following all the D1 games. Looks like B has played S01 already.

Without the ability to talk strategy in ongoing games, should I figure on this thread staying quiet until some games end?

I believe we can talk about past moves just not future. As in, in D1, that was some interesting openings for Germany and Austria. Dontcha think?

At the next world championship we need to have the final table play two games, one drunk and one sober to see the different. Of course the drunk one should be uploaded to YouTube :D

Austria was a fairly common opening I think, but Germany is quite interesting and with the Austria moves it looks like a coordinated eastward advance.

A brave French opening also suggests a pact with England.

Can’t wait for the next moves.

11. No post on the Forum should describe actions within an active game. After Action Reports should only be made when the game has ended; similarly, comments on players and their actions in games should not be made for active games.

I looked up the site rule regarding the forum & active games. I thought some of the posts two years ago could have been close to breaching this rule & suggest we adhere closely to whatever the Site Admins have to say on the matter this year.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished.

Yeah, I seem to recall seeing a thread from a long time ago where they had a "Viewer's Lounge" for a tournament top board, and they bent this rule by allowing people to comment on the moves with a 4-turn delay (i.e. you could only discuss S01 when the game was in S03, and so on).

I personally intend to stay quiet about the games and just watch them, at least until they're over.
