I don't have the time or energy to commit to playing, but I'm happy to help on the admin side of things.

I would enjoy a revival of this - and agree with others that what I'd change would be addressing the drop-outs. Maybe not allow entry to any who dropped out last time (at least, for non-medical reasons) and/or anyone who surrendered? The replacement issue was a big one and a lot for you to take on.

You'll get no shortage of ideas on this thread, and I'll add to the pile. Maybe we have a "real" league for the tried-and-true folks who played through all of the league games last time, and a provisional league for those wishing to join. While it might limit participation initially it would also reduce the headache of finding replacement players.

I'd like to participate again! Some of the game were rough  , but overall I liked PDL a lot.

Ambassadors Only is 3 games without a surrender, right? That's not too much to ask in order to qualify playing in a league with 3-4 games scheduled over several months. It might be a problem for people from other sites or the face-to-face community wanting to join, so you might allow some leeway for those people, if there are any.
