It wasn't the Pied Piper picture I found insulting, it was the next one with the throat being slit.

As to whether I really would have stopped attacking you? Yes I would have, at that point I saw that Germany needed to be stopped.
The whole thing was: are you being sincere, if you were than you shouldn't have a problem attacking Germany.
Funny thing was, you were the one who stabbed me, yet you didn't trust me.

No giving up on Diplomacy, Zutphania. You are clearly doing well & insults are irrelevant (water off a ducks back!) Who ever heard of “Axis & Allies” anyway? Sounds crap.

In fact if someone tries the approach then it’s merely time for “batting practise” & a few skilfully scripted barbs should follow. Can add to the fun immensely & a “home run” is always just around the corner. Enjoy.

Alliances are always stronger after they've been solidified and tested by that kind of fire!...that is, if you get to becoming allies again. ;)

Oh. It was supposed to be just a cheeky response to the Pied Piper picture...

I'm not sure what to say besides that. I wrote a little bit more about this in the AAR thread, but I was starting to be pretty desperate at that point.

Well, I don't want to talk about it, but my nephew did get his throat cut a couple years ago and I really can do without that crap.

I'll post this here too.
I can't help think this would be a relevant topic also in the league discussions :D :D

That is truly terrible I am sorry to hear that.

There is no way anyone could have known that and been sensitive to it.

*edit: added first line because PF properly called me out for being cold. My apologies.

But hey, it might be a really good idea to show a compassionate response to it now you do know.

A truly horrific thing. :^(

Back to fun stuff!

1.2: looks like a fairly unusual E/G/A outcome
1.3: based on public press, seems like a potential Italian solo. not really clear why, but it at least seems to have turned into "Russia helping Italy solo, everyone else trying to kill Russia before Italy can solo"
2.2: I can't tell if A/T turned into F/T, or if this is just F/A/T shifting some units around to make supply center counts hold up. Germany's position is poor but ... possibly sort of viable? idk, things seem non-obvious in terms of how game is progressing at times.
3.1: looks like an English solo forthcoming
