PDL1 1 Round 1 Game 1 is also finished... and I’ll be reading the AARs with great interest.

Eyeballing the 1.1 board I'd say it was a solid feat of diplomacy for France to enter the draw, since Turkey could have grabbed Rome and Naples uncontested in the fall, and then E/F is a clear minority of centers, with R/T well across the stalemate line, at least in the center of the board.

Yes, that's an interesting result. Perhaps Russia lobbied for the draw, based on worries that Turkey would get too close to a solo if he captured the Italian homeland??? It doesn't strike me as a huge threat, but I can't think of any other reason they didn't take the time to take France out before declaring a draw.

I can certainly see why Russia would be nervous, particularly with STP, Berlin, and Munich all under varying degrees of potential threat.

Not at all. France still had a few tricks up his sleeve including quite clear kingmaker.

And turkey needed armies.
Convoy Naples to bulgaria was the next move...
AARs will be fun. I think at some stage every player stabbed every other single player :)

They started with seven
They ended with four
Turkey couldn't understand
Why they wouldn't play anymore

She refused the draw
Then tried to hide it
"FOUR WAY DRAW" they all cried
And she just couldn't fight it

Coz they all got feart she wiz gonnae skelp their arses
