Not really a surprise, he had had MND for 50 years so unless you were aware of a recent decline in his health he was a 76 year old with every likelihood of surviving another year. Similar to Jim Bowan and Ken Dodd not a huge shock that they passed away but in December there were more likely candidates.

I sent a note to Minneapolitan a couple weeks back, but John Bain (TotalBiscuit), game reviewer and consumer advocate, died in May at 33. He was also one of my picks for the dead pool who people might otherwise miss.
