They are always allowed 1 unit more than number of SCs they own. They perform builds/disbands as usual. The reason it says until the zombies are destroyed or they are zombied is so if they get eaten so that we know what happens when the zombies die (the cavalry just disappears)...or if they are eaten (you get no more cavalry if you let the first set get eaten)

So, they are always allowed 1 unit more than the number of SCs they own Means unless the first one gets killed by a zombie before it gains an SC? Or any time the first unit is destroyed by a zombie, all of that nation's units go away? This still seems contradictory and unclear.

Still some open questions about spiders and forced disbands by player units:

Does this mean that a player's units cannot force a disband of the Cavalry, and Spiders will not eat them either?
And does "We didn’t need THAT unit" apply to Cavalry?

We didn't need that unit doesn't apply to Cavalry (good question)

Spiders can eat them...in which case they can get another build next year (cause Zombies didn't get them)

And players CAN force a disband of the Cavalry (and they will get another build the following year)

If one unit is destroyed by a zombie and it has spares...it keeps going...but basically there is one off board imaginary SC that is keeping a unit alive...but if you let that unit get zombied...it isn't bringing you another one...but it understands about spiders (random) and disbands (that's life)
