Hello there! I'm a single mom with a teen son, working a DC job -- the city, not the comic book publisher, unfortunately. I brushed up against Diplomacy around 20 years ago, but only really got sucked in last month. I'm hooked! -- not very good at it, but hooked.

Your signature led me to search "carebear"... and, how embarrassing, I am a carebear... but not forever, I promise! Just in these early games, while I'm learning. Soon I'll be as Machiavellian as anyone could hope to see. I think.

You should see if you could get your son interested too. I started Diplomacy back when I was a teen and it's a load of fun. Good to have you here at PlayDiplomacy.

we play as a big family, me, my cousin, and her children, a boy of 10 years old and a girl of 12 years old
everyone understands, we really like it
I think it's super fun
Diplomacy can teach a lot, develop logic, just train the brain
great time together :roll:
