Good Afternoon all...My name is Eric. I'm happily married, 2 kids, all that stuff.

I used play diplomacy quite a bit...maybe 20 years ago or so, and lost all my friends doing so. So I'm looking forward to getting back in the habit, and routinely lose friends again. :D

Looking forward to working some of this rust off. Other games I've been playing lately are a lot of ASL and a World at War...I'm a big fan these older hex games.

In any case, I'll check the site a few times a day and once a new game pops up I'll jump on board!

Hey, Eric. Welcome!

An ex-ASL fan here myself although haven't played it for years now. Same with The Russian Campaign and Third Reich. Not familiar with World at War.

Hello Eric, welcome to the site.

It's been a revelation for me, given how tricky face-to-face games can be to organise.

And now that we can't meet any other individual anyway...well, it'll be even more important.

Hope we cross paths sometime.

Hi Eric, maybe check out the Playdiplomacy League (PDL) in the groups section of the forum and sign up as a reserve.

Outside the league, several games are starting a day so just join one when you’re ready.

And we also have live games (15 minute turns) that happen every so often.

Welcome and I do hope to see you on the battlefield one day. Please note that EVERYONE here are outrageous liars, except me of course, I am pure as the driven snow and haven't even drifted a bit.

Good luck and I truly hope you enjoy your time here. This site has some awesome people, look around, stay awhile, ask Pootle for tips on the best pubs and you will be set.
