Used to play a lot of Hearthstone myself, an ideal game to play while watching tv! ;) I like Overwatch too, although I don't own the game.

I think there's a lot of history enthusiasts here too, my go-to before falling asleep is usually history stuff on youtube on the tv. Any recommendations on channels?

Hey Martz and thanks for the kind words,

I think my recommended channels would be:

1) Kings and Generals
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMmaBz ... qaBJjkj0fw
(such a large collection and covers pretty much every conflict)

2) Extra Credits
https://www.youtube.com/user/ExtraCreditz
(great great great collections of in depth videos; funny too!)

3) BazBattles
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx-dJo ... oY9qodykvw
(similar channel to Kings and Generals but I get the feeling they cover battles that receive less attentions than other channels (probably as a way of setting themselves apart))

4) Epic History TV
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvPXiK ... q-80vpgmKQ
(they have some amazing videos about Napoleonic battles)

5) Historia Civilis
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv_vLH ... R9vbeuiY-A
(I really like the videos about Roman history there)

If you want to find out about a surprising figure that may have been the greatest sea admiral of all time, I recommend you watch the series of videos on Extra Credits about Korean Admiral Yi

:D

What about yourself, got any recommendations for me?

Sorry, slow reply. I've hit subscribe on those thanks. Kings and Generals was the one I already knew and is one of my favourites though.

You guys have hit the main ones (and a couple I didn't know about - thanks Martz).

I'd add History Matters (formerly Ten Minute History) and Overly Sarcastic Productions, and Biographics has some good stuff as well although it's biography-focused.
