Hello there
An older player who would like to refresh my skills in Diplomacy.
I've been playing since 1978, but paused for many years.
Now I have retired and want to play again.

Hi Old Timer,

Similar story to mine. I played from 1970 to 1977 (then quit for decades). This site is great & especially PlayDip League.
They are signing up participants for 2020 right now (see link below) & we start early January.
Would be great to see you there,

Cheers V

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished.

I'm another old timer. I played Diplomacy as a board game in the 70s and 80s before work and family duties took over and it became harder to gather six friends for an evening indoors. I assumed I'd never play again but this online site is perfect for me. It's not too demanding (especially if you play games with longer times between moves) but it keeps me thinking and communicating (and role playing) every day. Try a variety of games to see what works for you (more options if you become a member but you can play classic Diplomacy for free). If you're like me, you'll love this addition to your life.
