Hello from Maryland

Hi to all, this is my second game on PDO. I'm 40, from Carroll Co., MD and have been playing the game for years, but only sporadically. I actually own three sets. I love the game but have never won it (I guess that will come with greater practice).

My name is actually Colin but I am on here as "JimHacker". The Rt. Hon. James Hacker, M.P. is a fictitious British politician in the BBC sitcoms Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister, a long-time favorite of mine (or favourite). I started a couple of games here and named them after episodes of the show.

Looking forward to making some great friends, and then possibly stabbing them in the back like the duplicitous little b****** I am.

Oh, and I will most likely be at the World Diplomacy by PTKS in Washington this October. Hope to see some of you there.

If you like Yes, Minister, you will LOVE the original British version of House of Cards with Ian Richardson. Classic clever Brit TV. Ian Richardson does this Shakespeare thing of having dialogue with the audience all the way through. He's just beautifully evil (reminds me of GPD. ).

Welcome! I used to live in Carroll county, but recently moved to Montgomery. I've been told that it's weird that Marylanders always identify themselves by county, but it seems totally normal to me.
