This is the assertion of Dhalroan domination over the Southern Wastes and beyond.

Where exactly do you claim to control? You say the southern wastes and beyond... What exactly does that mean? The Na'athari Confederacy? The Society? Obsidian Towers? I'm asking because I want to know where you claim to control. After all, we have a generally positive relationship with High Dhalro, and we do not wish to pointlessly compromise that by expanding or sticking our noses in your claimed sphere of influence.

After years of relative seclusion, the Queen of Meiltara does not take these raids across her border lightly. The Delwar clan raises its militia, a partial call-up of 2000 soldiers, and dispatches them in four closely-coordinated armies of 500 each, with orders to track the raiders and report their origin and intent, and if possible to rescue the captives. Preparations begin for a larger call-up if necessary, and Queen Furycane pledges the support of the Royal Army to aid the Delwar, should they require it.

(Also, how did Dhalro raid us? Aren't you like... thousands of miles away? I mean, there's a whole kingdom that used to be between us, plus a huge expanse of empty land...)

Long story short, he already conquered it.

OOC: I sent a relatively small expeditionary force across the desert between us and through the ruins of the nation that destroyed itself. Dhalro specializes in desert warfare and has an incredibly mobile military so I guess sjg judged them to be pretty effective. They’ve also been conquering the desert for a few years now so Dhalro’s border is larger than the map suggests.

IC: Dhalro will not be stopped from securing the greatness of the Owl Men people. Any attempts to disrupt the Dhalroan troops who have bravely fought for the nation’s growth will be met with the obliteration of the attacking forces. More demonstrations of Owl Men military might are to be expected in the near future.
