There's a lot of injuries in both types of Football--men gotta get their aggression out, I guess.
You have to admit though, American Football men could beat up Football/Soccer players, even without their shoulder pads and helmets ;).

SinnyBee... couldn't agree more, though the pads verses no pads was actually in reference to Rugby v's American football ;)

Serious injuries are going up all the time too in American football. As the technology for padding improves, players have become more and more deadly weapons. In rugby, without the helmet, players don't use their heads as battering rams and life-threatening injuries are almost unheard of, though minor flesh wounds are common-place. "anyone see my ear out there?"

There are no pads for diplomacy. No vest will turn the knife from its path, no armour will deflect the blow of the well timed stabbed. Only the leathery, hardened hide of a diplomat can weather the blows that come.

Just ask SaltySailor.

But alas, I wax poetic.

Where can I find the results for my game, B9? It's been over for a long while. No AAR thread either (are we supposed to start one ourselves?).

Well TECHNICALLY Canada could play in it, so it's totally an international event! :) The Blue Jays are even decent this year...
