Because you seem to think that it should happen, I will change the map

Hey, if you're not certain, DON'T :D

But it seems like there agreed it should, and i see the logic...

Maybe we should bring some experienced players like Diplomat and MR across to double check.
Its cause I'm awesome.

Sorry for the confusion, but I have checked my rulebook and found a similar case, so I will revert the map back to its original form

Well, if you want my opinion, Flatley was right for the reason retard.in.denial stated or rather linked. That diagram supports the conclusion that Rhu is dislodged.

ok but it clearly states that you cant cut support if it is the one supporting the attack on it. This is a basic diplomacy rule 2 on 1.

Borderlands (retard.in.denial)
Armies:
Rhu MOVE Aie BOUNCED

Aiel (TheChosen1)
ari move RHU BOUNCED
AIE S ari to RHU SUPPORT CUT

Looking only at the orders, and not the map, I was unable to find any orders other than the above that matter to this conflict about supports. If you find one that I missed my analysis may be wrong.

In this situation the move of Rhu-Aie does not succeed and, at best, it would bounce due to the occupation of Aie. The move of Ari-Rhu would also bounce, in a chain reaction. The support of Aie S Ari-Rhu though means that Ari dislodges Rhu and its support cannot be cut except by an attack from a territory other than the one it is supporting an attack on. I don't see such an attack so the support from Aie means that Ari does in fact take Rhu.

Specifically "Support is cut if the unit giving support is attacked from any province except the one where support is being given."

The only way for support to be cut would be if Aie was dislodged itself as a result of a 2v1 that did not result in a bounce, standoff or a beleaguered garrison situation.

I'm afraid I'm in a rush so I'll have to re-edit the map later
