Spring 2002 Results

Postby The Sea People » 08 May 2009, 01:25

I'm quite sorry that it has been so long, next turn might be extended as well, but it shouldn't be worse than it was this past week.

Northwest Passage has been proposed, check the waterway forum for more details. You may vote on the forum or in a PM to me. Remember that you do not need to propose real water ways, we can invent our own. Also, votes are due at the same time as the Build season.

Anyway...The Orders!
Northwest:
A in Wyo to Dak
A in Idh to Wyo (Bounce)
A in Ore H

Texas:
F Louisiana MOVE Arkansas
A New Mexico (east) SUPPORT Dallas (east) to HOLD (INVALID ORDER)
A Dallas SUPPORT New Mexico (east) to HOLD (INVALID ORDER)
F Texas MOVE Rio Grande

California:
A Ari -- move -- Fcr
F Colorado River -- support -- Ari-Fcr
A Ncl -- support -- Nev hold
A Nev -- support -- Ncl hold
F Cal -- move – Pac

Tri-State:
F Pen (rc) MOVE OHR (BOUNCE)
A NJ MOVE Pen (BOUNCE)
F NYC MOVE NJ (BOUNCE)
F CON MOVE NAt
A Mas MOVE NYC (BOUNCE)

Heartlands:
A col support neb to wyo
A neb move wyo
A mis support oka to hold
A oka hold
F min move Nms

Midwest:
F Wis -> MCH
A Ill -> Wis
A In -> Ill
A Mich -> Ohi (BOUNCE)
F Ohi -> OHR (BOUNCE)

Southeast:
F - Ten -> SMS
A - Nca -> Ten
A - Vir -> WVa
A - Geo -> Ala
F - Fla -> GoM
F - Mia -> Key

Yes! Those little black boxes between (New Mexico, Texas, Dallas, and Oklahoma), (Dallas, Louisiana, Houston, and Arkansas), and (New York City, Northern New York, Massachusetts, and Vermont/New Hampshire) are impassible. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear before, but it hasn't done any damage yet.

The Map:

Notes:
Big bounce in the murky Ohio River, 6 units between Tri-state and Midwest Bounce. California prepares an attack while Texas readies its defense. Northwest sneaks into the Heartland's back door, but the Heartlands are lashing back. Southeast takes to the water, prepares to take the Texan underbelly.

No retreats, so Fall 2002 moves are due Sunday the 10th at 10PM EST. I should be able to get the map in on time.

So I have 5 orders. I would prefer to not make 2 players NMR. But I will, soon. The map will be up tonight, but probably late, so if you don't see it up, send me orders.

Am I looking in the wrong place? I thought we were going to see the map on Sunday night, but I haven't seen it yet end-of-day on Tuesday, although The Sea People has been online posting to the forum... is the map in another thread?

I'm trying, sorry guys, but the paintshop on my computer is having spasms. I won't have time to fix it tonight, but I'll get to it tomorrow.

I'm really sorry about the delays by me. I know how this can ruin a game, and I really hope it doesn't here.

It's OK, Sea People. It happens. Life gets in the way. We won't hold it against you.

If it's too hard to keep it running, just say the word, and we can wait until you're ready to start again. It's your call, though.

I second the previous emotions. Thanks for all the work of hosting. Heck, I find it daunting just to keep track of two builds or a retreat!
