Country Assignments!

Postby The Sea People » 18 Apr 2009, 18:10

So here are the country assignments:
Midwest: Firestorm94
California: Aardvarkarmy
Texas: TheRedArmy
Tri-State: AK47
Southeast: Jaded Knight
Heartlands: Gusmerrell
Northwest: TheGame

Backups:
1) Mudkip
2) Trkertrsh
3) Speakerbox1217
4) Lotr_Freak
5) Steppenwolf
I am going to be pretty flexible with deadlines, as long as the map isn't up yet, it should be fine. In this first year, I'm going to be really flexible with the deadlines, because missing first year moves is a major disadvantage.
If someone talks to me about a vacation or anything, I will take a vote about whether to push the deadline back. If 4 players NMR, I will push the deadline back.
In a Family Emergency, I will push it back. Family clearly takes priority over diplomacy.
If there is only one choice to retreat/build, I will do that for you. Also if it is a smaller season (retreats and some builds) I will PM the players and try to do that quickly.
2 straight NMRs and you will be replaced. This can be spring and fall moves, or a retreat and a build season (if you apply). 3 NMRs total and you will be replaced, I don't care if you have the NMRs 7 years apart.
No Draw Proposals until 2007

Sending orders:
Please in the following format:
American (Country) (Year) (Season) (Type of move)
Examples:
American Southeast 2002 Fall Moves
American Hearlands 2007 Winter Disbands
American California 2021 Spring Retreats

Deadline Schedule:
Deadlines will be 48/24/24.
Deadlines will be at 10 PM Eastern Time. That is when (if I can) I will start working on the map. If the map is late, I will let that be known.

Does everyone understand the expanded waterways rule? It should become more clear as the game goes on. If you are going to propose an expansion, PM me in this format:
American (Country) Waterway Proposal
There will be a que if there are too many, and one will get processed each year. You may also withdraw a proposal if you so wish, but it may only be your own proposal before it is voted on.

Winter 2000 Builds are due Tuesday, 10:00 PM Eastern Time.

Bad-ass, I'm Red. ^_^

Can I pass over a river with an army? Never saw anything about that...

No, Rivers act as Sea Spaces, you need to convoy.

What is the scoop on Panama Canal? Considering the blockage of Mexico, the Colorado & Rio Grande, the West Coast will have minimal interaction with the rest of the the country without it...

The game will start without a Panama Canal. If someone would like to request it as an expanded waterway, that is fine. Expanded waterways may cut through otherwise impassible territories.

Sure, i will trade you the southeast but you will have to give me one of your SCs right off the start ;). That is the only way i would do it, i would have to keep Tennesee (making it my red). It is like giving up Rothlesburger for a number 1 draft pick
