2. The MVP doesn't really need to come from the GM. I chose the MVPs for most of the early games (up until about mafia 13ish, before the original Mafia history thread,) thinking that it would be an easier way to help remember games. (so you could see a game like mafia 6, which did not have creative name, see that the GM is someone left the site a while ago, and then see that the MVP was AK47, and go "Oh. That game.")

The MVPs can come from one of two places
1. The GM
2. The Players, and other people who were closely following the game. (if there is a concensus)

Crunkus and I reserve the right to make the final decision, as we are the ones updating the document.

GM comments: Despite the fact that Niakan and Hossaim bickered a bit, this was a good quality game. Also, another notable was that we were joined by a SolidIRC operator (Weedmonkey) who was also the person who patched up the IRC for us a couple months ago. He did great.

What is a live mafia, exactly? I've seen them about, but not really understood the concept.

It's mafia where the phases/days are short e.g. 15 minutes. We play it in irc, and I always lose.
