Serbia may be divided by anyone who wants part of it, but COM does not as they were unjustly annexed. Bulgaria however, is not to be divided between anyone as it is a Confederation country. The only way that Bulgaria could be divided was if it left the confederation and then COM would want no part of it.

My mistake. Neither shall be divided

Either way, I have occupied many Mediterranean Islands

UAAF Space Program
With our space program The New Frontier slowly, but surely being built, we have decided to accept promising citizens from other nations into our program for training in 0 gravity. All are welcome.

The ESA has, after much deliberation, decided that possibly interfering action is better then probably deadly inaction, and has sent a task force to the Mediterranean Sea to assist with the coup in the COM. This force consists of the elite Locust Battalion, who will work in concert with the presumably larger allied military forces rather than carry out their own operations. The force also includes:
1 Michael-class supercarrier
2 Seraphim-class missile cruisers
4 Lilith-class destroyers
1 Raphael-class hospital ship
and 1 Guardian-class assault ship

Should the COM be willing, the ESA will also send a flight group of close air support aircraft to assist with the incident in the COM.

The Confederation and its allies continue to make gains

Due to the recent influx of aid from the international community and the military help from Cyberian, The Duchy of Regensburg, ESA, and NVC. the Confederation has been able to recapture all of its territory except Bulgaria where the army of Zhelov has put up a remarkable resistance despite open rebellion against the Zhelov government in the streets. Confederation special forces have managed to recapture the central government of COM.

The government of COM has acted quickly on the international front. The Confederation will let military ships from any nation pass through the Suez Canal on the condition that arms are inactive. They do say that any ship deemed non-military will be subject to the toll however.

The nation of Cyprus has voted in an overwhelming majority to let the nation of Cyberian establish a military base at Akrotiri.

The CR, after years of isolationism, has increased the size of its military.

The new stats are now:

Army: 7000 Soldiers mobilized and 50 tank brigades, also an extensive stockpile of heavy weaponry and the nuclear program that we announced a few years ago was successful, leading to about 10 thermonuclear bombs. There is also a small stockpile of experimental Chemical weapons and WMD's.

Navy: 9 Carrier groups, This is about 200 battleships and 400 support ships, and our greatest achievement is the 4000 nuclear Submarines of various classes. about 700 are the Largest class of submarine. The largest in the world, with the acception of the Cargo Submarine, the creation of Project bathtub. The Navy also has 5 submarines that currently carry 2 nuclear weapons each.

Air force: 100 "Strike Bird" Jets. These are a modified version of the pasts F-22s, the difference is that they have been modified for tropical weather and the Vertical landing and takeoff system has been enhanced to the fullest. Due to the modifications though, the payload of weapons decreased by 17% of what it once was. 50 Bombers.

Due to our great advancements in military, the CR is now looking to other goals and will announce the creation of its space program, The CREA (Caribbean Republic Exploration Agency) Its first goal is to land CR astronauts on the moon once we have conceived a viable launch system.

How many people would it take to maintain that kind of navy? The US navy (arguably the world's best) has less that 100 submarines and less than 500 ships overall.

This fleet consists of (“International Water’s Fleet”): 3 “Tassadar” class aircraft Carriers (30 “Sparrowmint” a2a fighters; 15 “Eaglair” class helicopters) 2 “Fenix” class Battleships; “Zeratul” class Submarines; 4 “Fenix” class destroyers; 5 “Artanis” class PT boats; 1 COM fast attack submarine; 4 COM Patrol Boats. Currently the fleet is heading west into the Indian Ocean. There have been some rumblings about setting up some sort of settlement or military base a portion of the island of Madagascar, but nothing concrete has been announced yet.

In other news
, though nearly all of the Australian continent has been searched the Lost City of Nemo has still not been found. Hugh Jackman has announced that if the city is not found soon he will expand the search area to include parts of New Guinea as well as stretches of sea floor in hopes of finding it.

Assuming this is in the future I figured the numbers could be higher. Also the CR started with Submarine technology.
