The UMC's political situation, in comparison to most nations, is very fluid - and makes establishing firm party counts and reach ... difficult, to say the least.
Part of this is due to the heavy weighting towards delegates in the National Assembly of Communes, with 75% of votes coming from them. The oft-exercised ability to replace delegates at any time, from their lower assembly, can make single issues reshape the NAC for weeks or months, as delegates' stance on those issues become paramount.
The executive is also transient, as the Mattibean Central Committee is mostly elected by the NAC - with 12 of its members serving 1 year terms, and elected every month. The only one with a longer mandate is the Chair(woman/man), who is elected nationally for 5 years. This means that a sudden shift in the political outlook of the nation can completely shift the makeup of the executive within a few months. Of course, the peacetime, non-emergency powers of the MCC is fairly limited.
Party identification can also be tricky, as many delegates do not choose to formally align with a party. Many groups analyze the leanings of non-party affiliated delegates, and those models tend to be the basis of most day to day political analysis in the Union.
For general composition, parties in the Red Alliance tend to control between 65 and 85 percent of the NAC at any given moment. Conservative, pro-capitalist social democratic parties usually have between 5 and 15 percent of the NAC. Non-Red Alliance leftist parties fluctuate between 1 and 5 percent. Local parties (eg - Arabia focused, Beowulf focused, etc) tend to be between 5 and 20 percent. The remainder (neutral, or smaller fringe parties, like the royalists) make up typically 5 percent.
Within the Red Alliance however, it's not a united party outlook. There are dozens of minor parties focused around an ideological outlook, and they constantly bicker on dozens of issues. However, the Red Alliance of these parties has long held, as the parties recognize the need for a united front - when it becomes necessary - for the benefit of all.
The broad blocks of ideologies within the Red Alliance is made up of Anarchists, Syndicalists, Marxist, Authoritarian, Eco-socialist, and Revolutionary Socialism. Their respective makeup fluctuates as well, depending on the leadership, issues, and general participation in the general population.
As of Janurary 4695, here are the current distributions of seats in the NAC:
