Okay, so if I make it so Project Aesir is super effective where I have the time to lay out the nanobots then is that good? (And less effective elsewhere)

Yep, basically. Some things (like voids) aren’t super sciency but like, you can shove Nanobots up peoples noses to suffocate them and have them emit liquid nitrogen to freeze things or whatever.

Super delayed, Mark IV and V Hyperion/Gaia suites are expansion of prior research from Trinity and Mark 3 augment suites, involving modifying and updating the actual chemistry to sneak through survilliance systems while still being lethal weapons. Uses some faceshifter (not actual face shifter so we are clear but 'vague' faceshifter meaning tech boost liberation received from Black Hand Union, to improve it bio augmentative abilities its own research on organic properties so on and so forth. So its not good as actual shifters, but for most normal security it will be functional).

The augmentation is designed to work in tangent with Mark III armours for better durability.

Finished Projects:

Cyberian Dawn - 35 years (IRL 27 May 2020)
A large scale research and government program to develop a small computer chip and provide it as a free upgrade to any willing citizen of the People's Imperium. The computer chip would be used to facilitate the learning process, would have access to the internet, and would interface with the brain to provide information, allow searches, allow information to be downloaded in addition to learned, and provide optional computational power in addition to natural human creativity and logic. Finally, the chip could be used as a medical device, allowing constant screening and medical attention for many disorders and diseases of the mind.

HFPE: The chip would also have access to the human subconscious. This would allow the government to subtly influence (not control, but influence) things like public opinion and the happiness of the general public (by sending a command to release endorphins in a controlled way). If course, it would also expediate government control over the news available directly to citizens and the speed of that information's availability.

Update: About 83% of the Imperium’s population accepted the upgrade and now have the implant.

Plasma Sculpting
Building off of our earlier Plasma Shaping, this project is going to incorporate the more theoretical improvements into our plasma droids - increasing the efficiency of the design profile for plasma, making it easier for them to self-repair, and increasing the range of their attacks.


Bombard
The next in our missile improvements, Bombard will focus on the penetration capability of our missiles against armor and hardened targets.


Phantom
Another missile improvement project, Phantom will focus on the approach phase - increasing the EW of both our base designs and more specialized variants, aiming to make it harder to detect and pinpoint missile locations, false positives, and a host of other improvements to render initial interception more difficult.


Banshee (W)
The final in this suite of missile improvements, Project Banshee (W) will consist of two parts. The first is improvements to our current final approach missile EW - which kicks in when approaching the inner defenses of our targets. The second is adding a new EW warhead to our arsenal - the Banshee warhead, based off of the ancient Mattopian Banshee EW ships.


Grav-gun 2.0
This is a complete redesign and overhaul of our grav-guns - infantry coilguns - to provide more penetrating power, rate of fire, and specialized rounds, to make the weapons more impactful in combat. Variations for use by Guevara suits will receive particular attention, as well as smaller designs requested by some other IWA member states for militia/partisan usage.

This project is aimed at a new design of personal armor, more focused around plasma shielding. This armor will be a step up from the Guevara passive armor, and appear visually similar to medieval plate armor - just made out of plasma - hence the name. This will also contain directional shielding capabilities to bolster the central shield.


Eggshell - 20 years (June 4)
Project eggshell is aimed at improving our artillery shells - primarily coilgun/railgun based - while integrating more lessons from our missiles (payload and increasing their guided ability to reposition once shot)


Neural Connectivity - Upgrade - 30 years (June 24)
Another upgrade to our neural monitoring techniques, this project will make it smaller/cheaper to setup in military equipment - along with making it integrated more smoothly into training/assisting training, with particular focus on artillery. This is expected to make training up new recruits in times of emergency quicker.


Mantle - 30 years (June 24)
Project Mantle is an upgrade to our stealth/cloaking systems used in-atmosphere, aimed to give another upgrade/improvement to the difficulty of detecting them.


Dispersed Production - 20 years (June 4)
This project is aimed at improving the capabilities of our forts, fortresses, and strongpoints to withstand sieges. By developing new recycling/repurposing technologies, along with processing capabilities for accessible materials, it will allow for increased local re-arming of missiles/shells for fortifications that are cut off from resupply lines. Also, I accidentally deleted most of my previous post from several months ago announcing the previously completed projects. Thanks to redundancy in the system, I do still have the information, which I plan to use to fix the error shortly.

Nebula-class Destroyer - 20 years (IRL 15 Jan 2020) - Designed to replace the Scythe-class Battlecruiser (and possibly even the Hyperions at some point), the Nebula is meant to function as the backbone of the Ceonian Star Armada. At a little over a kilometer in length (1,040 meters), it is clearly a ship-of-the-line as starships go. It has 20 Ultraheavy Cerulean Turbolasers (5 on the bow, 5 on the stern, 5 on the port side, and 5 on the starboard side), 40 Sabreteeth ship-ship cannons (also equally distributed), 100 Blazing Fang point defense cannons, and 10 turreted missile launch tubes (with 30 missiles each). It is worth noting that, even with the equal distribution of weaponry, the ship's slanted profile allows it to fire all of it's weapons when facing forward, even though this is impossible for other angles. It is equipped with state-of-the-art Aurelian Shielding, and has triple-layer armor. The hull is 5 meters thick and uses triple-layer armor (much like the updated Hyperions), with most of the structure built with Adamantium, with a middle layer of Brass Tacks and an outer layer of Reflective Armor to offer protection against laser-based weaponry. In addition to the standard installations (with many, many redundant systems to allow for increased survivability), the Nebula is most notable for its insane power generation. With a full 30 nuclear fusion reactors, a Nebula-class vessel will have a high shield recharge rate compared with most other vessels of its size. It is designed to trade up. While compared with other previous Ceonian starship designs, the Nebula may have fewer gun emplacements overall, the key point of the design is to increase survivability to an unprecedented level for Ceonian engineering. The ship packs a major punch, but, more importantly, can survive long enough to deal much more significant damage over time.

Project Praedium - Over the next 50 years, the agriculture and retail of Ceona will be gradually shifted towards complete and total automation. This will drastically affect life in Ceona, as far fewer people will need to fulfill any kind of "blue collar" job to sustain themselves unless they wish to do so for personal fulfillment. By the end of the 50 year period, it is expected that no traditionally "blue collar" jobs will strictly *need* an organic to participate, unless, as I mentioned, the organic being wishes to do so. In the fields of art, mathematics, and the sciences, human ingenuity will still be required. This is expected to, eventually, dramatically change Ceonian economy.

Antigravity architecture - Architecture using El-0 technology that is meant to increase the efficiency of space and allow for more innovative designs. This is primarily intended for use on planets. Basically, the idea is to allow for clever use of space in a truly 3-dimensional environment to allow for more compact housing and work environments that are still comfortably spacious. I anticipate a lot of spherical, boxy, or elegantly curved modernist designs. The research is meant primarily to fully marry anti gravity tech with architecture and make it efficient enough to be accessible.

New Projects:

Phase 1 Spectral Armor - 35 years (IRL 20 Aug 2020) - Phase 1 Spectral Armor is the next step in Ceonian stealth technology. Intended to replace the now ancient stealth armor used by Ceonian operatives, Phase 1 Spectral Armor will phase the user in and out of reality to more effectively hide them from all forms of detection. Despite some initial hopes that the armor could allow users to phase through objects, it appears that such a feat would require significant increases to the time and funding given to the project. Rather, the armor will only allow for radically decreased chance of detection. A side effect of the method used for stealth, however, is that, while in stealth mode, the user will be unable to meaningfully interact with anyone else outside of some limited communications. That means that, in order to successfully fire a weapon or otherwise assassinate, steal, or sabotage a target person or object, the agent must briefly come out of phase. Other than that, however, the user or agent should be theoretically undetectable by any method not specialized to detect someone using this method of stealth.

(OOC: I tried to make a tech that is extremely, unbelievably good at one thing. To offset that, I did my best to build in some other weaknesses to counteract the strengths.)
