This is the poll that will determine the fate of Lithuania in the Create Your Own Country forum game. The idea of putting this poll in the larger forum rather than the subforum is to get votes from members without personal interests in the issue.
A little background: The cities were originally part of the Duchy of Regensburg, before the existence of the DUS. The DUS was created in adjacent territories some weeks afterwards. The DUS later announced it's intention to annex Lithuania, which contains the three cites. The Duchy of Regensburg made no objections in the next day, and so the DUS proceeded. The Duchy of Regensburg's controller didn't see the post until several weeks later (3 I believe it was) and then objected. Attached are the before and after maps, with Lithuania boxed for clarity

Sounds like there's a war a-brewin'. Let them RP a combat situation.

Why can't they settle it on their own?
The enemy's gate is down.

Don't go thinkin' you so bad jes cuz you was in SOLDIER.

We've always been at war with Eastasia.

This is a way to have a fair election. Otherwise you can just say that your country won, then the other person says it was rigged, blah blah blah.
Do you hear the people sing,
Lost in the valley of the night,
It is the music of a people,
Who are climbing to the light,

For the wretched of the earth,
There is a flame that never dies,
Even the darkest night must end,
And the sun will rise

Does Denmark belong to DUS? If so, I would suggest a trade of Denmark for the Baltic states.
Yes

Yes, Denmark is part of the DUS. However, it is also the location of the DUS's capital so a trade is out of the question.

I believe the Duchy is already moving in that direction and the DUS has no objections.

Okay, well, it's been a week. Shall we close the polls?
