Rare gain indeed. :o

I must admit though, I have no clue what D'Hara's ultimate plan is. :?

Just curious, would it have counted if I ordered my army to Hold, been dislodged, and retreated to WRS?

Technically, no... but then again, it still would have been a more aggressive accomplishment than some!

Your egging me on won't make me throw the game just so you could solo.
If you can, win.
If you can't, draw.
If you stab, succeed.

last time I checked, demonstrating an iota of courage, showing any outward sign whatsoever that one knows how to advance against opposition, taking a chance here or there to grow, to expand, to better one's lot hardly constitutes "throwing" the game. Those displays of competitive gumption constitute "playing" the game, and are nearly always prerequisites to winning.

edit: for an excellent example of what a winning spirit looks like, see attitudes. No matter how backed to the wall he is, he is always looking for an avenue to fight. Oh, yeah, and he also communicates - even with enemies. Because, well, you know, the game being called "diplomacy" and all

edit: honorable mention to ghostecho. Although he seems to have lost his nerve of late, its only because he burned too bright too fast - he attacked 3 different nations in the first 4-5 seasons trying to find his winning path

edit: and honorable mention to our replacement player, who came in swinging from his first move

Please move this discussion back to the Draw thread - I can ignore it there!
