I'm not getting even slightly involved in naming the provinces - I know none of the books.

But I know Frank Bacher has his eye on this, so be careful - HE'LL hear you!

I think the board needs some re-design in the area between D'hara and Midlands. The impassable zones and positioning of northen SCs make it an overly bounce-prone zone that in most other boards gets designed out...

Or perhaps you should just stop beating your head against a brick wall. :D  :ugeek: 8-)

Seriously, there is no difference between this area and the area between Winterfell/Riverrun and Aiel/Borderlands. It's by design and personally I think the board is just fine the way it is.

I'm saying nothing until the games are over. Then we can check it out (and probably have a conversation with the original designers as well)

Sure thing it can wait/be moved. Didn't mean to discuss in-game details. I'm just posting while it's 'fresh' ;) - in other boards that I've worked on/designed we tried to avoid these kind of bottlenecks.

to a large extent, I think the bottlenecks are the entire point of this game... what makes it unique...

I don't know if anyone is willing to GM this, but this map seems really nice to me and i would like to play it.
I couldn't find any topic in the "Looking for players" part of the forum so i thought i post it here, since the sign up list seemed to be quite long for a 6 player game i think there is enough animo for another game.
