DoIaF AL305 Spring Orders

Postby presser84 » 26 Apr 2013, 18:29

Again apologies for the delay. Professor assigned a research paper 2 weeks before the end of the semester (in addition to everything else). So I've been a little swamped. But I have a window to get this out

No problem. Thanks again Presser. Sounds like you have a well deserved break coming up soon. Don't forget to make Salt Shore Maroon in the fall to further massage my ego. :D

So, Shockj, it's all in the bag! I still wonder why you accepted the draw proposed in the first place, if you knew that this would happen. :?:

But hey,we've all had a good run. I've greatly enjoyed this game, and to have survived until the end feels good too. :)

I was honestly okay with the draw. But I was going to make a last minute push if you didn't accept it. I might have been secretly hoping you'd reject it, but I made peace with it if it went down that way. Will obviously write more in my formal AAR. But great game to all participants. Really looking forward to hearing your take on things, Blackfish. And all the rest of the board as well obviously.

If I accepted the draw, I would have lost. If I rejected the draw, I would have lost. The key difference being that in one of the scenarios, there are two victors, and in the other, one. I made a threat to a certain player that I would throw the game should he not stop doing what he was doing and stuck to it. I don't make empty threats.

Anyway, I'm keen to get started on my AAR. :D

SO Thomas has NMR'd the retreat. The unit is Auto destroyed. If you guys get me orders in asap we can end the game with speed deadlines.

I'll post a new deadline shortly

Greyjoy (ThomasValiant)
NMR Redwyne Straits Auto Destroyed

AL305 Fall Orders are due Tuesday (Monday Night) 12:00am EDT, 4:00am GMT, 2:00pm GMT+10. Speed deadlines in place and officially I am going on the assumption that Thomas is NMRed and will not be replaced. However, if he were to submit orders they would still be processed (technically he has 1 more NMR before he is officially booted).

Press, would it be possible to re-upload the maps? I know it's a pain, I'm getting round to doing mine on South American Diplomacy, but it's much easier to create an AAR with the maps, in sequence, before you. :)

Thanks a lot!

I have them but it's going to be one of those when I get around to it kind of things. What if I just did an animated gif of all the years?
