Time It Takes to Process Orders on Premium

Does the automated judging in the premium live version happen faster than in the non-premium games? We tried playing a non-premium game and it sometimes would take 15-20 minutes for a new phase to roll out, and we are wondering if we need to upgrade to the premium version for more instantaneous/quicker output.

There's no relationship between premium status and processing. The truth is that with COVID, we've had hundreds of new users join the site. In general, this is a great thing! The trouble is that we're not running the most robust server in the world, so site processing in general has been slower, sometimes getting temporarily stuck for certain games.

So I'm sorry that turns have been taking longer. Just know that there's actually a good reason for it: more interest in Diplomacy!

As I understand it, live games go straight to the top of the queue because the turns are only 15 minutes and so it needs to process within a minute at most. But that’s live games and nothing to do with premium.
