AAR: 152870. a game of learning

Postby Britannialbion » 20 Feb 2019, 11:18

This is the after-action report thread for the recently completed game, 152870. 'a game of learning', which ended in a three way draw between England, France and Turkey.

There was some interest expressed in having an AAR thread so that we can all figure out exactly why things happened the way they did!

I will send messages to all participants, including surrendered countries, inviting contributions.

I hope to have my report up fairly soon. As is usual in these threads, further discussion outside reports is encouraged.

Thanks!

Hey! When I created this game, I specified "for starters".
Although this was definitely not respected, I did learn a lot, and gained an ambassador title.

Everybody played well (in my opinion)
Italy kinda got run-over.
The BBC was pretty nice.

Apologies, Germany. I just join any 12 hour game available. There were few of them at the time. In my defence, I didn't win so it hardly matters.
