So... how'd everybody like it?

This is the first time the map has been played, obviously, so there were a few kinks that I think should be worked out. Feel free to use this thread to inform me of any modifications to make, in addition to your AARs.

I will do a full AAR later, but Denmark was too strong; Sweden to weak.

Just to say I am going to get around to this but life's ridiculous just at present. Having trouble meeting deadlines!

Livonia was a fun game, and nerve racking because everyone knew the stab would come sooner than usual. I liked how everyone could attack each other immediately, it made for an interesting game.

Thanks to Shibabalo for GMing, it was fun.

And sorry for the short comments, I'll try and put more later.

COULD is the operative word.
I still maintain that Sweden is screwed from the start.

I have similar concerns, and I think this needs to be fixed before another game is ever run.

It's my thought that this is a diplomatic problem, not a tactical one. Basically, Russia and Denmark-Norway are both more inclined to attack Sweden at the start, and so Sweden is weak.

So, how to fix this? I could split Nyland into two territories, putting a bit more space in between Sweden and Russia.

I could also make Saxony border Alborg, to draw Lithuania and Denmark closer together, but that seems like a bit much.

What do you guys think?

It's not a tactical problem, I'd say it's more strategic. I feel they're a central power while everyone else is a corner power. Which leads to the diplomatic issue of everying seeing free centers and attacking you ;)

So the underlying issue is that everybody else can attack Sweden better than they can attack each other?

Or it it that, visually, Sweden is in the middle? Which gives the impression of being a central power?
