Spring 651

Postby Pedros » 13 Aug 2012, 17:17

I'm not intending to create a sub-Forum for this one - if it's a problem for anybody just let me know.

Reasonably standard opening moves (apart from Anglia in NSS!) No chance of any retreats yet, so Please try to get your orders for Fall 651 by 1600 BST (1100 EDT) on Thursday 16 August

(If you can include either "Trial" or "Flanders" in your title it will drop into my trial folder) Also, if you have any thoughts already about the negotiating/playing positions drop them to me now in a post - same heading, but something like "feedback" or "comments". Then I won't look at them until after the game, but they'll be fresh in your mind. Thanks

Noticed an error: The Norwich unit should be a fleet and the King's Lynn unit should be an army.

Fall 651

One retreat - Mercia from Gloucester - doesn;t affect builds so all those can be submitted together; but if you want to wait for the retreat then fair enough. If we can get them all done in 24 hours that wouldbe great!

Sorry for the delay here: downside of "soft deadlines"!

One retreat needed - Northumbria from Northumberland. Then we're into the final phase of the test.

I haven't noticed green attacking you!

Spring retreats 651

Postby Pedros » 25 Aug 2012, 19:55

Northumbria: Northumberland - Durham

Orders for Fall 651 by 1900 BST (1400 EDT) on Tuesday 28 August if possible please.

And don't forget - if you've anything more to add about the effect of the changes and how they may have affected your negotiations please let me know. Even those not directly involved may have noticed that there were particular pressures at work. Once next season's over I'll post all the comments I've had already; then there will be a discussion between anybody interested about how this and Test Game A have worked out (Game A isn't over yet, but it's far enough advanced to draw some fairly clear lessons about the start position.)
