In the interest of fairness:

- Shouldn't there be a green fleet in Tun1?
- Why was the green army in Apulia2 destroyed? As far as I can tell I attacked it unsupported.
Draw in Diplomacy Stew 2, playing Italy
Winner Four Seasons, playing England
Draw in Layered, playing Yellow (Russia + Turkey)
Winner Shuffle, playing Turkey
Winner Vain Rats 4, playing France

Aaiiyee! Right on both counts Diadem. And I thought I'd been so careful this time!

And the bounce in Apulia means that the fleet in ION1 didn't grt to ION2, and the fleet in EMS1 didn't get to ION1! Correcting the maps and adjudication now.

Deadline unchanged.

I'm confused now becauseI still don't see a fleet in Tun1. Is there one there or not?

Ok, now that that's out of the way:

I think we've succesfully stopped green from getting a solo here. In the fall Apulia2 will be destroyed - A convoy from Alb2, supported by Adr2, while cutting possible supports from Pie2 and Tys2 should take care of that. Tyr2 - Mun2 and Tri2 - Tyr2 ( supported of course by Tyr1) will also luck up Munich and Berlin for good, and with that the entire northern front.

The stalemate line Moscow, Livonia, Prussia, Berlin, Munich, Tyrolia, Venice, Rome, Ionian with support units in Warsaw, Silesia, Bohemia and Adr/Aeg/Ems is unbreakable, with Mos, War S Liv, Pru S Ber, Sil, Boh S Mun, Tyr S Ven, Nap S Rom and something S Ion.

So, ehm.... I guess it's a draw?

We might try to whittle the draw by eliminating blue. But honestly a 4 or 5 way draw doesn't matter too much to me (it's both a rather poor result), and blue has been a good ally so I don't want to stab him.

Well, I didn't read Diadem's post as a formal proposal. But that shouldn't hold us up too long!

I haven't had a chance to confirm the stalemate here. I will look at the map tonight or tomorrow and, assuming I see what is supposedly there, I have no objections to the draw.

[quote"Diadem"]it's ... a rather poor result)[/quote]
I'm not trying to influence the discussions about the draw. But when I see (as we do all the time) people saying this I want to scream at them "Don't you remember Richard Sharp? A game of Dip between 7 good players will finish in a draw more often than not, because the minority will gang up to stop the leader."

And I'm not saying this is a good or a bad example (I'll tell you that in the AARs!). Just that a 5-way isn't necessarily a bad result!
