HOTW - Turn Length

Postby Subotai45 » 08 Feb 2014, 17:06

Blackfish brought up a good point. How long should movement turns be? I know get most orders on the last day, but I'm not sure if that's because it took you so long to think of, or y'all just procrastinate. So, for movement turns, do you want them to remain at three days, or be shortened to two? I will go with the majority on this one.

I would prefer a two day deadline, since I notice most of my stuff, at least, is bugging Subs with questions constantly, which can be done any phase. Really, orders typically boil down to rearranging troops and industry, with rare turns of colonization or something else.

Wow, this is faster than my government ever has been...

I voted 2, for the same reasons as Fortress.

It's the battle phases that take longer, for me.

I'm ok with the turns being quicker for movements, Some of us aren't being crazy with our movement, and other orders. This will mean that HOTW and AHW orders will be on the same day every once in a while, so be wary of that if you are like me and play both

I'd prefer three because I'm in so many games..

Subs for Prime Minister of Australia?

y'know, you don't even have to be born in Australia...

Maybe we could start the charity of "Better Government For Australia, Pay to Ship Subs to Australia, Then Pay For His Election To Prime Minister". What do you think Blackfish? If we need a snazzy acronym, that would be BGFA-PSSA-TPFHETPM. If anyone can think of a better name or acronym, please respond.

I'd rather just hold a coup and instate subs as a puppet ruler

Aaaaand now ASIO has me flagged as a threat...
