Modern Diplomacy Fall 1997

Postby UpQuark » 07 Oct 2012, 22:40

Take care when sending in order revisions that your edits are complete…

Retreats this turn are: Germany (F Den) and France (A Auv). The rest of the retreats resulted in AUTO DISBANDS. The Build totals shown below include the effect of the AUTO DISBANDS. These retreats will likely not impact the Builds, so if all Builds/Disbands are in along with the retreats, I will continue the game immediately with Winter 1997 (combining it with Autumn 1997).

Deadline for Autumn 1997 Retreats is Tuesday 9 October 2300 UTC.

The problem with 24 hour reminders seems to be that some players are now just waiting for the reminder then sending in their turns. Even with that, I sometimes have to chase down orders at deadline.

The longer time frame between turns and builds/retreats was supposed to be to allow for real life occurrences (not standard events) and periods of diplomatic activity.

However, I also note that there has been good diplomatic activity in this one, and I am not even aware of all of it. (Thanks to those who keep me filled in on the inner workings 8-) )
