Fall 1908 and farewell to Ghost Echo

Postby Pedros » 29 Oct 2012, 21:40

No retreats apart from Turkey in Ankara, which has no SC available for the retreat and so is eliminated. Turkey struggled well, but was unable to resist the Russia-Austrian attack combined with the Black Holes. Well played Ghost Echo.

And the news soe of you have been waiting for - a French centre gone, and it truly is Brest! France loses a fleet with it. Builds (France and Russia) are due please by 1930 GMT (1530 EDT) on Tuesday 30 October (Daylight saving has ended in UK but I don't know about USA.)

Builds/destroys
France: 12 SCs ; 11 Units ; 1 build
Germany: 1 SCs ; 1 Units ; 0 builds
Italy: 12 SCs ; 12 Units ; o Builds
Austria: 1 SCs ; 1 Units ; 0 builds
Russia: 4 SCs ; 3 Units ; 1 Build

I count 13 French centers. Still only 1 (usable) build, though.

Good game all.

If I could find an open center next to that northern mass of black holes, I would be quite prepared to argue I could retreat there via OTB... unfortunately, we just took out Brest, not Kiel, so I can't get to Belgium. Darn.

You mean the Russian-Italian attack combined with black holes, right?

I only attacked a little bit, then I ran away and settled in Sweden. I think the topic title for Spring 1909 will be

Spring 1909 and fare well to Kithchener
