And for this particular variant, you must do all your killing in the honour of Odin or Thor!

Screw that!

1. 4/2/2? Seems slowish.
2. Didn't see anything about reminders. Do you use those?
3. So...if 2 players get to 26, then 1 can simply DECLARE a draw between them? Boo--if someone has 26 and another has 59 that's not good. Plus, 50%+1 is a better way anyways.
I'd like to hear the answers before I grab my spot.

The deadlines are a big reason as to why I chose to join up and...

UpQuark wrote:3. The game turns will be posted with clearly marked deadlines for the next phase, and also included in the notification emails. I will send out “reminder” notifications 24 hours prior to the deadline, though this is not “guaranteed” in any way and should not be relied upon.

Yes, I send 24 hour reminders.

4/2/2 allows for diplomatic activity and real life (to reduce NMRs). I encourage faster response, as all deadlines are Speed deadlines - once all orders are in, the turn executes.

The rules are that if 1 player reaches 26, he wins. If 2 (or 3) reach 26 within the same year, one of them can declare the draw unilaterally - but until one of them does, the fight goes on until only 1 player has 26. A Draw is still a Draw - no winner. Be sure to be the first to reach 26, and to ensure noone else keeps up...

Note that of 85 SCs, 64 are divided already between the 8 starting nations. 5 others hold Neutral Armies.
