An evil plague is spreading in the west. Once thought to have been defeated, Sauron, the enemy of the Free Peoples of Middle Earth, has returned. With mighty forces of evil at his command, it is only a matter of time before he covers all the lands with darkness. This time a darkness so complete none can escape it.

Yet hope remains. Legend tells of a last alliance of Men and Elves uniting under one banner to march against the armies of Mordor, defeating Sauron on the slopes of Mount Doom. Evil however, was allowed to endure in shadow, his spirit ever bound with the One Ring!

With Sauron returning, The Free Peoples must once again come together, unite as one, and bring Sauron and his forces down for good. But it will be more difficult than they know. Not only have Sauron's orcs multiplied... not only has his fortress of Barad Dur been rebuilt in the land of Mordor... but Saruman, Wizard of Isengard, has joined his side. With this union of the Two Towers, Sauron and Saruman threaten to rule this Middle Earth.

The Battle for Middle-Earth is about to begin...

There will be 9 town, 3 mafia, and 1 serial killer.

Someone else can make particular rules, but the serial killer (gollum/shelob,balrog, etc.) gets 1 night kill (just an idea)

I don't know how to implement the One Ring, any ideas?

I just thought of this out of the top of my head so any suggestions would be most welcome!

The one ring gives someone a power role (maybe cop?). If that person is killed they can choose someone to pass the ring to. The evil forces must obtain the ring or have forces great enough so that it is inevitable (greater than or = to town numbers).

Just an idea.

Or maybe if the good guys destroy the One Ring, then the mafia suffer some major setback.
Vice Versa, if the Mafia find the one ring, then they get a major reward.

I found this on some random website, i thought the serial killer role was pretty neat and fitted gollum well.
