Site Map Graphics

From my limited understanding the maps that we see on the site or produced using an SVG program. Which one is used?

Is it possible to get a copy of these files or are the issues with copyright.

Good question. I would like to know too. SVGs are good, but they can't be read by many programs and they can't be uploaded to the PlayDip forum.

This is one of the reasons I am asking.

When I was previously on the site the consensus of opinion was that SVG programs were better because there is not an appreciable difference when the original file is saved/converted/compressed into a different size/format.

But Inkscape files cannot be saved as .GIF files, which are ideal for posting in the DVFG games forum.

I have taken a look at the current version of Inkscape and it appears that you can save a file as a .GIF. There are also free online utilities that will convert an SVG file to other formats including .GIF
