having anybody who walks over the map isnt fun for the players or the GM.

basically i just mean if you make the map i can balance out SCs and stuff, dont be afraid to put in a few extra spaces to manouever by, you dont want to "force" players into any one position.

so I make the spaces, you put down SCs, countries, etc?

no, you et everything up how you think best works, then ill act like a jerk, tell you everythings wrong, and we can debate and get the best map out of it :)

yeah two tips to new mapmakers

-use more tiles than you think
-make sure every player has at least 2 avenues to start with- without engaging in any diplomacy at all (for instance, even the secluded turkey can attack russia or austria)
