Machiavelli Diplomacy

This is the place for games which are currently being created and developed, and where the designer is listening to feedback from other players. The game is not ready to play, and the designers are not looking for sign-ups - indeed, they may have no intention of GMing the game themselves when it is finished. But your input is welcome!

Machiavelli Diplomacy

Machiavelli is a Diplomacy spin-off with wildy different rules... but what if we could play Diplomacy on a map of Machiavelli? More importantly, how can we balance that map as much as possible?

It would have no extra rules, just good old Dip in the age of the Italian Wars.

Consider every "square" and every "dot" as a Dip supply center: http://chingfordgames1.homestead.com/files/machiavelli/mach_board_with_province_names.gif

Machiavelli actually came with multiple sets of rules. One set was a less "advanced" version that maps fairly closely to classic Dip rules.

I checked them, but some balance issues persist like an Austrian home center bordering enemy units from both Milan and France.
