Freddafred put 140 on the Avars?! He should definitely get it, and me Vandals (if not Byzantiums, as it seems you didn't even consider me in the draw because I had it listed third!)

The highest on the page thing only works for ties within the player's bids.

Ok, this needs to SERIOUSLY be looked at.

No offense DiploNev, but I dont think you know how to adjudicate the Blind Auction.

Cheesers is right, the positioning of where you list them, is only if you have ties IN YOUR OWN PREFERENCES.

So if I bid

Austria 100
England 1
Germany 1
Italy 1

And Someone else bids

Germany 1
Italy 1
England 1
Austria 100

Then there should be a coin flip for which person gets Austria...The order only matters if say we both lost on Austria, and both England and Italy are left as what is left...Then I would get England because it was my top 1bid choice, and the other person would get Italy, cause it was their 2nd 1bid choice.

This needs to be fixed before people start PM'ing people. Actually though, right now, I would consider if people have started PM'ing people, pausing the whole thing, and giving people random countries.

I will take a look and see how I would have done it, then you can do it as you wish.

I think we should keep our countries. I have done lots of negotiating and would not want that turned against me.

Here would be how I think it should go....yes I did the names/coinflip...so you can trust me...or make DiploNev do it again...or again, right now, I would think full random may be the best way to go.

Pharoah of Nerds----Byzantine (won a name out of a hat over Castle and Cheesers)
Aerdination-----Anglo-Saxons (won a coin flip over haroonriaz)
Heritikyl----Visigoths
Haroonriaz----Franks
Cheesers----Vandals
JoeBishop----Gets either Avars or Ostrigoths (whichever he wrote first when he sent in the bids....so then the order matters)
theangrycastle----Gets whichever JoeBishop DIDNT get.

Anyway, do with this as you wish, hope I helped, but right now, I think pure random is about the only way to try to solve this...

I see no bids for freddafred neither on his list, nor on the chart heritikyl made....I didnt even know he was in the game...depending on his bids, that can throw everything off....

Honestly, I think right now, your best bet is to ask a mod (Pedros/myself), or an experienced GM (like BigBert), to just go completely random. This way it pulls you out of the mix, and no one can complain to you.

Other players, how do you feel? Would you rather keep your country or reshuffle?
