I see lots of people looking at the thread, but very few signing up. For those of you who look and don't sign up, what is the turn off for this variant? Could I do anything that would fix it for you? :?:

Comments welcome! 8-)

For me it's a lack of time to play more forum games. Depending on how life's going in a few weeks maybe... :)

No computer on summer vacation? Unless you are off to do something charitable, how barbaric! :) What's going on this summer that involves a lack of computers?

This game will be using 48/24/24 deadlines. this means about one in game year per week of real life. This means ending 1910 (assuming we would be done by 1910) would be 10 weeks of play. If we started now, we would make it. But since we are waiting for 14 players still, I get the feeling we may not get started for a few weeks if not months. I'll put you on a reserve list, one eye, just to keep you in mind.

I suspect you haven't been camping in Canada's great outdoors , not a good wireless connection in the outback . I encrourage you explore the Rockie's or , maybe a northern Saskatchewan lake and learn how truely barbaric our ' little black fly can really be ' , a Diplomacy stab has nothing on these guys .

No, nothing in Canada. I've been camping in Washington State, and six weeks in Germany once, but not a whole summer. How long you going to be out there without?
