Speed deadlines on 24 hour retreat and builds bit me on the bum big time here.

If we cannot remove the speed element I will ask Palin to replace me.

Sorry Kian, that's just wrong. Retreat was published on speed yes, but you then had a full 24 hours for the builds. They weren't processed early. You had the PM alert and 24 hours to deal with it.

However, I have no problem if the consensus is to abandon them in this game. They're only there because of the general player preference.

I'll PM asking for comments, preferably in public.

Wow, can't believe I made such a silly mistake :\.

As to the speed deadlines--I am impartial, however, if it will help others I'm fine with waiving them.

Pedros I didn't mean to suggest both phases had less than 24 hours but that the game went from Fall to Winter in 34 hours rather than 48 hours. That's all. I wasn't complaining, there's no-one to blame except me. I was simply observing that it would be more than likely that it would affect me again. The same thing happened to me at least once in London Nights. I should have foreseen it and it's not fair on my team if can't be relied on to meet the deadlines which were very clear up front.

I don't really have any opinion, for myself, the "time win" is not so big but I haven't had any problem with it as Kian have had. But I think that if Kian prefare that we change it we should do so, especially if there's a risk of an replacment.

Another note, I've got an army in Nottingham, not expect you to add it now but though I should point it out.
