London nights: Map, rules and discussion

Game for 7 set in riots in London over one night. Unusual rules! Devised by Andy Mansfield, introduced and GMd by Pedros. Winner: thewysecat (Nurses)

Multiple units and cutting support

Postby Pedros » 14 Jan 2012, 13:17

I was asked in the last phase what the rule would be if a multiple army (say the Nurses' 2A or the Cockneys' 3A) was supporting another unit and was itself attacked. My response was as follows:-

There is no rule nor discussion about cutting support. My view will be (as in a discussion in Championship Deviant) that the only precedent is from Multiplicity, where a single attack cuts one only of the supporting strengths.

I commented that there may be discussion about this, but unless there is some before the next movement deadline, this will become part of the rules

From the rules:

"2. Multiple Armies. Multiple armies (2A or 3A) move and support with all their value, but a single attack on a multiple army will cut all support. Multiple armies can never be split."

I said I thought there was a rule. End of 'discussion'

Thanks Wyse. I innocently looked under Shoppers and East Enders where the units are described!

That's it then folks! (and no need to later the rules!)
